Partnership Begins with Elohim School in Arequipa, Peru

Beginning February 2008 we were blessed to partner with Elohim School in the mountains of Arequipa, Peru. Children are now available on our website to sponsor.

Feeding Center Opens in Lurin, Peru

With the generous partnership of Cross International and Caring House Project Foundation a building was purchased that is now being used as a feeding center for ORC's sponsorship program, a local church, Sunday school, youth outreach, adult discipleship classes, and day care center.

The Caring House Project Foundation Funds Public School Expansion Project in Honduras

Frank McKinney, designer of some of the world’s most prestigious oceanfront estates, partners with ORC by helping to fund a much needed public school expansion project in Japon, Honduras. Children in the community currently have educational access through only the sixth grade. Upon completion, the public school expansion project will provide the opportunity for children to complete their middle and high school-level education by providing classrooms for grades seven through twelve.

Cross International Partners with ORC to Expand Youth Program Services

Cross International supports ORC’s mission to reach underprivileged adolescents with nutritional, educational, recreational, and vocational programs that will target the many facets of life among the poor. Through a Christian educational model, programs will reinforce solid core values and set a strong foundation that will help participants develop the necessary skills to become self-sufficient productive citizens. Due to the generosity of Cross International, ORC has hired a married missionary couple who is now living in the Japon Community of Honduras and specifically meeting the complex needs of the teenage population.

ORC Expands its Operations and Starts its First Feeding Center in Lima, Peru.

ORC partners with the Misión Cristiana Carismática El Camino church in Lima, Peru to establish its very first feeding center in the country, serving meals to approximately 110 children in 2007.

Alfalit International Supports Efforts to Provide Adult Education & Nutritional Support to Single Moms in Choloma-Cortes, Honduras

Through joint efforts between major donor Cathy Blanchard, Honduras-based partner ministry Fundación Esperanza VIVA (Living Hope Foundation), and Alfalit International, Inc., a valuable food voucher-educational program was implemented in Honduras to helps tackle the problem of illiteracy and its devastating effects. Through this new initiative, single mothers with no history of any formal education are provided the opportunity to complete six grade levels, with a short-term goal of learning to read and write. This program model encourages mothers to take responsibility for their own education, and at the same time provides them with both the spiritual and nutritional support they need along the way.

We are thrilled to announce that Operation Rescue the Children, Inc. has been accepted as a member of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA).

ECFA is an accrediting agency dedicated to helping Christian ministries earn the publics trust through adherence to a strict set of Standards of Responsible Stewardship.

Our acceptance into this agency is not only an honor for our ministry but a great assurance to our donors that ORC is committed to excellence in the stewardship of every gift we receive.

ORC Headquarters Moves to Pompano Beach

Operation Rescue the Children, Inc., has found a new home at the Marie Green Forum for Global Missions, located in Pompano Beach, Florida. Our new location is more than just office space - we are part of a network of organizations who work within the Kingdom of God.
